We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.
Pastor Robert Earl Collier was born and raised in the Church of God In Christ. He faithfully served under one pastor for 32 years and received his training and mentorship from the esteemed Dad J.M. Boulden, a revered pioneer of the church. Pastor Collier held various roles within the church, including Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Y.P.W.W. President, Chairman of Finance, Deacon, and Assistant Pastor to Dad Boulden.
In January 1987, following the passing of Pastor J.M. Boulden, Pastor Collier was appointed as interim Pastor of what was then Helbig Chapel C.O.G.I.C. In tribute to the late pastor, the church was renamed Boulden Memorial C.O.G.I.C..
In March 1987, Pastor Collier received his pastoral appointment from Bishop A.L. Thomas Sr., becoming the Senior Pastor of Boulden Memorial C.O.G.I.C. Under his leadership, the church has experienced and continues to experience blessings. In early 2008, Pastor Collier shared with the congregation a vision the Lord had given him to build a new sanctuary.
The church has been blessed with readily available property for construction. Pastor Collier firmly believes that, with God’s help, they can and will build. One of his favorite sayings is, “With the blessings of God, we will venture where we have never been and accomplish what we have never done. And in doing so, we shall receive what we have never had.”
Pastor Collier was happily married for over 38 years to his beloved wife, Lady Donna M. Collier until the Lord called her home to glory in 2022. They are proud parents of 2 sons, Robert E. Collier Jr. (married to Akesa Collier), and Minister Zay J. Collier Sr. (married to Noel Collier). Pastor and Lady Collier also rejoice in being grandparents to Le’Darrius, Zaria, and Zay Collier Jr.
